He managed to seamlessly blend both of our musical tastes, and to perfectly adapt the music to every portion of our cocktail hour and reception. Everybody had a great time, and we saw a lot more dancing than we anticipated from our guests!
But that doesn’t even begin to describe just how much Lou contributed to making our day so special! First of all, he’s been such a valuable ally during the planning process. He developed an online platform with planning tools, making sure that absolutely every aspect of the wedding day would be covered and it would all run smoothly on the big day. He helped us with the timeline and order of events at the reception. And the communication was beyond perfect. Most times, he’d reply to our emails within minutes, and we were always able to schedule phonecalls whenever we needed.
He also did a perfect job with all the announcements. I have attended a number of weddings as a guest, and I often found wedding MC’s to be a little bit cringy, so I really wanted someone who would handle this part of the job with a little more taste. And Lou was absolutely perfect!
Even though we had a live musician for the ceremony, we still wanted Lou to help put during this portion of the day. We had an outside ceremony, and we were clueless about what kind of sound system we would need. Lou handled all of this for us, making sure that our harpist would have everything she needed, but also taking care of the microphones for our officiant and ourselves.
And finally, Lou is just an awesome human! With all the stress of planning a wedding, it’s always been a pleasure and a relief to talk to him and know that he had everything under control!”
